Driving Directions, Lodging, and Local Shopping

We will add directions soon for people driving in from farther north.

Directions to CJC from the Tallahassee Airport

1. As you leave the airport, make a Left
2. You are now traveling on Capital Circle or 263. Continue for 3.2 miles. You will pass Orange Avenue. The next light after Orange Avenue is State Road 20, make a Left.
3. Currently there is construction as you approach this intersection. There is a Burger King located on the Right and a Circle K on the left. You will travel on State Road 20 for 10.4 miles. You will pass Aenon Church Road (the only stop light-about 1 mile after turn) and Fort Braden School. .5 miles after the Fort Braden School Sign you will make a Right on Julow Lane. Julow is the third Right after the school. It is a dirt road.
4. Follow it back to the camp.

Directions to Wal-Mart, Applebee's, McDonalds, Subway and other civilization

1. Make Left out of camp, travel 10.4 miles to 263, Make Left.
2. Travel 1.7 miles to Tennessee Street intersection. Wal-Mart is located on the Right hand side across Tennessee St.

To get to a local hotel

1. The closest lodging outside of the camp is the Sunset Motel. Follow directions to Wal-Mart above. Make Right once you have gotten to the Tennessee St. intersection.
2. The Sunset Motel is on the right 1-2 miles up.

However, should you want to stay in a hotel you may wish to consider continuing on towards town another couple of miles for something a little nicer. The Collegiate Village Inn is on the Right just as you come into town and is very nice.
The good news is there are lots of places to stay. The bad news is that there is a Football Game this weekend and the town is a Football town so the places may be booked up.

Directions from CJC camp to the "Lounge and Liquor Store"

1. Make Left out of camp. Travel 7.6 miles.
2. The store is on the Right.
The lounge directions are in case you get hungry at night and don't want to travel all the way to town for "Snacks".
